In 1963, my father wanted to connect work with his passion for the sea and so he founded the Driving School S. Giorgio in Ferrara, the first school for nautical permits. 

The nautical division of S. Giorgio grew with the need to adjust to the ever changing market and the needs of the clientele.  It is the first of its kind in our city along with the Ferrara Boat Service, a shipyard in the heart of Ferrara, along the course of the river at the dock of S. Paolo.

When I was born in 1967, my father was a pioneer in the sector of sail and motor boats making him a reference point for many manufacturing companies that wanted to approach the nautical market.

My family’s passion for the sea allowed me to also live this life, to sail around Italy for the first time at 7 years old which was a dream trip, to “moor” in the ex Jugoslavia in 1975 and to be one of the first to sail the coast up to Dubrovik.

It is difficult to stand up to our dreams.  In 2003, there was still something missing for our company and we wanted to implement, we needed something that could go above the services that we already provided: to put our experience and our love for the sea at the disposal of people who like us were attracted to the irresistible charm of the sea.
